Helping more Vanuatu Schools
Through our close association with the Pacific Pathways foundation, Allied Pickfords continues to help with transport of donated school equipment.

This time the schools of Tai Tapu and Avondale in Christchurch donated old school desks, chairs and furniture . The team of Sue and David Mitchell worked all weekend to extract the furniture and will be loading another container which is being funded by donations from Rotary NZ.

Lending a helping hand
In association with The Church of the Latter Day Saints, Allied Pickfords was able to arrange a charter flight to deliver essential aid to the people of Vanuatu after the ravaging destruction of cyclone Pam.
A large group of volunteers including 100 Allied Pickfords staff assisted with packing over 45 pallets of food into 2000 sealed buckets, which was flown into Vanuatu and processed  for people of greatest need, via the Government and Church on the ground in Port Vila.
Allied Pickfords also assisted with the airfreight of over 500 tents and 1000 water bottles with purifiers from the Latter Day Saints Headquarters in USA.
Our thoughts are with the people of Vanuatu at this difficult time.
Pacific Pathways - helping the children of Vanuatu
Allied Pickfords continued its proud sponsorship of the Pacific Pathways charity.  The charities mission is to empower education in Pacific nations (currently schools in Vanuatu) through the provision of education resources and support from New Zealand schools, businesses and organisations.
Allied Pickfords was able to provide various supplies to assist with the delivery of over 700 desks and chairs which was distributed to over 41 schools.  It’s been a joy for the staff of Allied Pickfords to support the communities in Vanuatu especially seeing the enormous smiles it brings to the school children.
We look forward to supporting Pacific Pathways in its future endeavours.
