COVID-19 Update – 25th March

The New Zealand Prime Minister announced that at midnight on March 25 the country is moving to COVID-19 alert level 4. At this stage the government has advised that Level 4 will be in place (at a minimum) for the next 4 weeks and only essential services will be operating during this time.

Allied is not considered an essential service so we will temporarily be closing our operational moving services business from March 26th for the duration of the lockdown.

The government has requested that landlords keep tenants in place and home sales need to be postponed during this time.

The safety, well-being and overall health of our clients and team members has always been and continues to be our top priority. During this lockdown period, our Business Continuity Plan will enable us to keep normal communication channels open. We can still assist you with rescheduling moves and providing quotes for any moves occurring post lockdown. However please note during this time we are experiencing a high volume of calls which is resulting in longer than usual hold times.

The situation is constantly changing so please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
