Moving to the UK
Do the lights of the West End call to you, or the beautiful green expanses in Scotland and Wales fit into your idea of a dream lifestyle? If so, you may have thought about moving to the UK in the past. We’re not surprised, because it’s a fabulous part of the world to be in. There’s always something going on, and moving to the UK isn’t nearly as hard as you might have thought. Well, not if you move with Allied Pickfords, at least.
There’s a lot to organise when you move to the next suburb, let alone to the other side of the world. If London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast or anywhere in between are your preferred destinations for your international relocation, take the first step to get there and talk to your professional Move Consultant.
Careful planning is the key
With over 600 destinations around the globe, Allied Pickfords has the largest relocations network in the world. We’ve moved people all over the place, and we’ve learned a thing or two during that time. We know the specific needs of people moving with pets, precious cars, kids, partners, extensive book collections and boats, so if you’ve got something tricky to relocate, don’t fret. It doesn’t matter if the move is only a few hundred metres, or if it’s thousands of kilometres away, because both require extensive planning and organisation.
When moving overseas in particular, you need to make sure that your home in New Zealand is sorted, whether it’s a rental or you need to sell before you go. You need to pack everything up safely and label it all. You may want to find employment at your destination before you leave, and hand in your notice of resignation in New Zealand. Plus you could be moving with your family, and they’ll all have their own things to sort out, or you might have to do it for them.
If things aren’t organised and the big moving day is looming, you’ll start to stress out and it will make the whole process unenjoyable. It could even make settling into your new UK home difficult, which will be an unpleasant start to your new life.
Make sure you aren’t in a position where you’re constantly stressed about how successful the move will be, and let the professional team at Allied Pickfords take care of everything. We’ve done it all before, so there won’t be any surprises when you move with us. To find out more about moving to the UK, get in touch today on 0800 255 433.
